In the field of training, Feldman founded several prominent organizations: the Contemporary Systems Corporation, providing executive systems analysis training; the U.S. Professional Development Institute, developing seminars and conferences; the Government Computer Expo trade show; the E-Gov trade show; and The Feldman Group, focusing on business process reengineering. Feldman's publishing accomplishments include the founding of Government Computer News (GCN), Enterprise Re-Engineering, and E-Gov Journal, three influential information technology publications. He also was inducted into the GCN Hall of Fame. Feldman earned his BS in electrical engineering from Technion Israel Institute of Technology, where he was named Fellow of the University and received an honorary doctorate. He still serves on the school's board of governors. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Feldman earned an MS in industrial management. He is chairman emeritus of the Industry Advisory Council, an organization he founded that now represents about 500 federal information technology vendors. He also serves as Fellow at the Council for Excellence in Government and on the Tower Club's board of governors. |
