Matt Rockstroh is senior vice president of the investment and wealth management division of Mercantile-Safe Deposit & Trust Company, where he manages all the administrators in two departments: private wealth management and institutional custody client management. Rockstroh joined Mercantile in 1987, the year he graduated with a BA from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Rockstroh has more than 15 years of experience specializing in the administration of nonprofit organizations such as colleges, hospitals, foundations, and religious groups. He started out as a client relationship officer handling institutional nonprofit accounts and, in 1993, took over as manager of the institutional endowment administration group. He assumed control over a new initiative called Client Administrative Services in 2002, with responsibility for administrative officers handling private wealth and institutional account administration. Later that year he was promoted to his current position. In addition to his career at Mercantile, Rockstroh finds time to serve as president of the University of Maryland University College School of Undergraduate Studies Advisory Board and as president of his community pool, Summer Hill Club, Inc. He is a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and the Planned Giving Round Table of The Associated. |
